Leveraging partnerships to scale-up innovations for universal WASH services by 2030

National and local level stakeholders welcome regional replication of the district wide Initiative
The Ahafo Regional Coordinating Council in collaboration with IRC, a catalyst of change, working in every corner of water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) to build and strengthen systems that transform lives, is organising a regional event to launch the Ahafo Integrated Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) programme. The purpose is to officially present the Ahafo Integrated WASH programme and to unveil the new masterplans for Asunafo North, Asunafo South, Tano North districts; and provide platform for growing and leveraging partnerships for collective implementation.
The two-fold session will start with the opening session – welcome scene setting and partner comments to place the event in context and make way for the keynote address and the official launch. The second part constitutes the market place session that focuses on districts showcasing their masterplans and engaging partners for implementation towards universal WASH services in the Ahafo Region.
