The central theme of this year's World Water Week is Seeds of Change: Innovative Solutions for a Water-Wise World. Human activities have triggered a global water crisis where we have for the first time crossed the safe planetary boundary for water. Yet this is only one of multiple interlinked crises; in addition, we must simultaneously tackle climate change, biodiversity loss, and poverty. Water is at the core of all these threats, which also means that it is one of the most powerful tools to find solutions.

World Water Week - as one of the leading conferences on global water issues - will explore new ways to tackle these challenges and contribute to the achievement of the commitments made at the United Nations 2023 Water Conference in March 2023.

IRC, together with Water For People and Water for Good (One For All) will be attending and participating in the water event of the year. Check out what IRC and key partners have planned for World Water Week.
