Like the town of Banfora before them, they have decided to offer their citizens sustainable drinking water and sanitation services everywhere, for everyone and at any time by 2030.

These plans allow them to rally the important influencers in each commune as well as the national government and external partners in a coordinated manner around one and the same unique goal: developing a public service system which everyone can enjoy from 2030 onward and sustainable access to safe drinking water and sanitation. From 2030 the towns will be able to meet the requirements of Sustainable Development Goals 6.1 and 6.2.

These master plans were funded by the Hilton Foundation and developed by the town halls under the technical guidance of IRC. You will find the master plans for Bérégadougou and Niangoloko (in French only) below listed under Resources.
