Abstract | This background note discusses whether blended finance can help address the financing gap for SDG 6, which instruments it uses, and provides as an example the water and sanitation pooled fund of the government of Tamil Nadu in India. It concludes that more work is needed to shed light on the models and effectiveness of blended finance. |
