Abstract |
The implementation of the Laka Laka project consisted of the construction of the Laka Laka dam and related infrastructure, and the erection of a number of regulations regarding the use and administration of the water from the Laka Laka dam. During this implementation phase it was established that the a part of the water (270,000 m³) from the dam was to be destined for domestic use for the town of Tarata and to be administrated by the Servicio de Agua Potable y Alcantarillado Tarata (SEAPATarata). The rest of the water was to be destined for the Abanico and Cabecera for irrigation, and this water was to be administrated by the Asociació n de Regantes del Complejo Múltiple Laka Laka (ARCMLL).
