Abstract

Today, lack of treatment of faecal sludge creates pollution pestering urban life across Africa. In order to upgrade human excreta (HE) from a pathogenic nuisance to valuable and safe agricultural inputs, the urine, faeces and mixed sludge have to be verifiably pathogen free. [authors abstract]
