The report attempted to elaborate the general observations and findings of the study conducted by Samuhik Abhiyan (SA) from December 2007 to March 2008, in a sample of six VDCs of the RVWRMP working area. The report is divided into three parts : the first part includes background to the study, objectives, methodology and process and limitations of the study. The second part of the report contains general introduction of the study VDCs, prevailing practices, factors and actors of gender and caste based discrimination and major findings.
